I would like to share with you tips that helped my friends quit smoking.
You must have an iron motive to quit smoking. Make a list of the most significant
reasons for which you would like to get rid of a bad habit. Hang this list in a prominent place!
Do not carry cigarettes, matches, or a lighter. The very fact that you have items related to smoking will constantly remind you of it and provoke it.
Find like-minded people. Soon you will see that there are people next to you who are also determined to quit smoking. Enlist the support of family, friends, and colleagues.
Look for a cigarette replacement. If you really want to smoke, drink a glass of
water, juice or green tea, eat fresh vegetables or fruits, chew chewing gum.
Turn your attention: do an interesting thing, talk with a friend, listen to music, read a book, take a bath, take a walk.
Never give up! Most people make several attempts to quit smoking until they
succeed. If you break loose and smoke again – do not despair. You have not failed!
